This is a page where I’ll post helpful info for all of you other people who have a xatblogs.com blog :)

How to make a new post on your blog:

  1. Roll your cursor over the button that says “My Blogs” (At  the top of your screen)
  2. Roll your cursor over the name of the blog you want to make a new post on
  3. Click the button that says “New Post”
  4. Then once you’ve typed up your post click the button that says “Publish”

How to add and remove widgets on your blog:

  1. Roll your cursor over the button that says “My Blogs” (At  the top of your screen)
  2. Roll your cursor over the name of the blog you want to add/remove widgets on.
  3. Click the button that says “Dashboard”
  4. Click the button that says “Appearance”
  5. Then, in under the appearance button, click the word Widgets.
  6. Then you can drag the widgets you want to add to your blog from the list to your sidebar. And if you want to remove widgets just click on the widget (While it’s on your sidebar) and click the button that says Remove.
  7. Then, once you’ve added/removed the widgets you want click the button that says Save Changes and the new widgets will appear on your blog for everyone to see.

How to add other users to your blog:

  1. Roll your cursor over the button that says “My Blogs” (At  the top of your screen)
  2. Roll your cursor over the blog you want to add users to.
  3. Click the button that says Dashboard
  4. Click the button that says “Users”
  5. Then click the button that says “Add New”
  6. Then type in the person’s you want to add to your blog username, email address, and the role you want them to be (Admin, Editior, Author, Contributor, or Subscriber)

How to approve/delete comments on your blog:

  1. Roll your cursor over the button that says “My Blogs” (At  the top of your screen)
  2. Roll your cursor over the  blog you want to approve/delete comments on
  3. Click the button that says “Manage Comments”
  4. Then you’ll see a list of all the comments made on your blog. From there you can approve. delete, or mark comments as spam.

How to change your blogs theme:

  1. Roll your cursor over the button that says “My Blogs” (At  the top of your screen)
  2. Roll your cursor over the name of the blog you want to change the theme on.
  3. Click the button that says “Switch Theme”
  4. Then click the theme you want and click Activate, or if you want to preview it first click Preview.

How to change your status:

  1. Roll your cursor over the button that says “My Account” near the top of the screen.
  2. Roll your cursor over the button that says Profile.
  3. Click the button that says Public.
  4. Then click Update Your Status.
  5. Then type in your status and click Update.

How to change your accounts email/password:

  1. Roll your cursor over the button that says “My Account” near the top of the screen.
  2. Roll your cursor over the button that says Settings
  3. Click the button that says General.
  4. From there you can easily change your accounts email and password ;)

How to change your xatblogs.com avatar:

  1. Roll your cursor over the button that says “My Account” near the top of the screen.
  2. Roll your cursor over the button that says Profile
  3. Click the button that says “Change Avatar”
  4. Select an image you want to use as your avatar and click Upload.
